thanks sydneysiders! Nope, no message.......supposed to be screwed up reception from the old days before cable...lol. I was going to use an old test pattern, but couldn't find one. Sorry about messing with your eyes!

Thanks seldomseen. I got the idea when I went to one of my favorite thrift stores......saw an old philco for $10.00, with a turquoise case! Almost bought it too! My husband would have had a fit!
