you have good taste in felines......my Russian Blue died a little while ago....in theatre...a leaking thorasic heart duct...only 8 yrs...young for a Blue.....still have a grey Persian and a gorgeous calico something....
have never actually chosen a cat.....people just leave them with me while they move house and never come back....must have 'sucker' tatooed on my forehead!!....lol
when it comes to 'choosing' my next feline/s.....will be a Maine Coone or Abyssianian....or maybe both!!....
