Way cool What version of logon studio are you useing?
I dont think the new version will alow you to make such a cool logon.

thanks. it's really the same logon studio that "compiled" it. but you can't edit it though in it. oh well, after a while you get to work with the "code"...right, in notepad

I've tried numerous times to edit the notepad file created by visual studio, but I just can't get the hang of it. Could you give me any advice on how to edit the file (or maybe know some sites that could)? I'm tired of making the same old standard logon screens over and over again

Windows XP Logon UIFile Secrets by Paul Andrews

Then you can take a look at the .uifile files in the template folder in logonstudio. From there, it was pretty much a trial and error thing, at least for me. Oh, btw, this old thread here discusses a lot
