Thank you! I just moved back to Wisc. last Nov. after living in AZ. for 10 years. I really miss living there, the wide openess where you can see forever...perhaps sometime I'll be able to move back.

I'm from the camp verde area. Seem to remember were not supposed to call it (Squaw) Peak anymore. politically incorrect I guess. Used to Cowboy on that Hill so this brings back memory's, Love it, even though it makes me homesick.

I have friends in Camp Verde, it has been several years since I visited them, we just email, at that time it was known as Squaw Peak, so the new name is Cowboy on that Hill...yes it is very beautiful country....one of our friends passed away several years ago,her wish was that her ashes be disbursed off of S. Peak, well her husband, family and friends all traveled up to the top, and after a few words, her husband opened the jar and as the wind took her ashes, we were surrounded by millions of lady bugs...she loved people and nature and it was almost as if she was saying goodbye..
