This is the wOrse logon I've seen in centuries. What's wOrse is that I think it's pretty good.

Glad to see a matching logon, but it won't install. I've tried clicking on the file and loading from within the program. Nothing! It never appears. Any suggestions?

Did you get a .zip or a .logonxp file when you downloaded it? If it's a zip, rename it to .logonxp and it should install.

Alternatively, extract the zip in the LogonStudio folder so you would have a folder structure like this: LogonStudio\w0rse where w0rse would be the skin folder containing images and theme configuration files.

I got a .logonxp file. When I clicked on it to install, logon xp opened up but it didn't show in the list of thumbnails. I downloaded it again, today. The same thing. I tried converting it to a .zip file, unzipping it, and putting in the Logon XP program folder. It still doesn't show up in the list. I haven't had a problem with any of the logons before, so it seems to be something funky going on with this particular file.

I uninstalled it, opened LogonStudio, clicked Load, found the file and applied it with no problem. I'm sorry but I don't know what's going on at your end to help you out

Thanks for taking the trouble to check for me. I downloaded the file again and tried to install it, with the same results. I even tried reinstalling Logon XP, but that didn't help. It must be something funky going on with my system. I'm clueless as to why I can't get it to work.

I went to the newsgroup and found out that quite a few people had had the problem of not being able to install a logon from within the program or by double clicking on it. The only work around seems to be to convert the file to a zip, unzip it, and put the folder In the program file. It didn't work for me the first time, but it's working now. Nobody seems to have an idea why the install feature suddenly stops working. Reinstalling the program didn't fix it, so I'm guessing it's some kind of program conflict or a problem being caused by one of the XP udates. Thought I'd pass the info along, in case someone else runs into the problem.

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of threads on the subject. Well glad you got it figured out, and thanks for passing the info along
