It's a nice logon, very smooth. I'm just not too fond of the buttons on the username. They don't really match the brushed steel they sit on. I do like wires...and 'borgish' things though...looks good Tiggz!

cheers Hus, you might be right - I originally had some brushed steel style buttons for this but I wasn't happy with those either and went for the same texture as the background, but I might experiment a bit more because I wouldn't want to let the side down

Thanks rechain. I just double checked, changed resolution to 1280x1024 and added an extra account, and the logon appeared as it was intended. I am sorry if you feel it is not looking good but the way logons work with multiple accounts this is how it is. I did put some time and energy into considering all the possibilities and the design I came up with is the best I could do. When you have 1 account the userpanel sits directly on top of the background image and so the transparency that it utilises is not obvious apart from the elements contained within it. When there are multiple accounts, the transparency of the accounts above the background element are more obvious, but I'm afraid that's just how microsoft decided the non-focussed accounts should look. If you can come up with a better solution I'd be happy to hear about it

Hi Tiggz, i love your work but i cant use the K-Tek suite because im working at 1600x1200...
Is there any chance to make another version to fit my screen?

Thanks in advance and greetings from Spain!!

Hey guys, try this one http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=26&SkinID=3057 it's more or less resolution independant
although not the same design as this one, it is still well and truly part of the K-TEK suite
(where suite actually means "great huge sprawling mass of reasonably similar skins and themes")
