It occurs to me that I should have made a custom systray icon for it. What size are those things?

16x16. Nice animations.

very nice dt, very nice indeed
yeah, the tray icon is 16x16 but it's worth doing an icon with all the sizes so the executable looks nice too
keep up the good work!

o, btw, an idea:
in the script you can set the tooltip of the systray icon using widget.caption="some text" (or a variable) - it might be cool if you set the tooltip to the time or uptime or both

Thanks for the tip, Tiggz! I didn't know that. This is my first experiment with a widget.

Five Stars - Excellent contribution. This single widget replaced two, saves screen space, and fits will with all my schemes. Bravo!

Very nice. It's really versatile. My only suggestion would be maybe adding a date? That would b great.

If you hover your cursor over the systray icon, the date pops up.

Nice one, I do agree a date to go along with it would be awesome.....

Is there a way to close the clock but keep the uptime running?

Unfortunately, widgets do not allow you to only delete part of them (unless it's designed into the objects).

dt - additional info re the systray tooltips, if you put the following:

widget.caption="textline1" & chr(13) &"textline2" & chr(13) & "textline3"

you would get a 3 line tooltip, so you could have time, uptime and date all in one

ok, stop me if I'm getting boring ("Too late!" they cried), but you could add some script where if both clocks are showing and you dbl click one, it hides (visibility=false), and if it is the only one showing the dbl click would reveal the other...

hehe, just ideas, I think this widget is great already

Great Widget, It fits snugly in to my desktop!

Is it possible to make the pacing persistent on the desktop? Everytime it's starts the clock is located in a spot there I don't want it! Do I do something wrong?

The positioning issue is apparently a built-in issue with DX. (I thought it would remember it's previous position, similiar to normal DX objects). It seems that widget exes don't natively remember such things. Time for me to do some updating, I guess! I'll most likely wait a bit for the new DX standards (AOI and CUI) to be more fully sorted out.
Erk.
