could you add a yahoo or hotmail compatibility ??

I know there is an extension for firefox that does it all, so this maybe not out of reach (naive free comment, of course).

When trying to install this, my Norton Anti-virus pops up with the message "Alert: Maliciouse script detected. Object FileSystem Object Activity Create Text File" In the box identifying the file it reads "dwidget.exe" and then it recommends I Stop the script.

Any comments?

This is really nice. Everything seems very seamless. It's the best multi account email checker I've seen so far.
However, when I click to set the interval and choose Cancel instead of Ok, the input box reappear.
btw, I was curious on how you did this password encryption, but I could not find it. Might be just me not looking good enough. I'll have another look tomorrow, it's too late now.

I had trouble recently with all my widgets crashing giving notice of an error and needing to close. I updated the script engine and the problem was fixed. Now it is back. Can anyone help? I don't like being widgetless for too long

Great widget. Is there any way that it can be resized? (I am relatively new to Stradok etc). I have 3 digit numbers for new mail (in certain accounts) and the number runs into the userid.

Hey Tiggs I love this widget, it's awesome. I think the idea to have it minimize to a small sphere would be great and it looks like you already thought of this. Not an easy animation, but I know it will look great when its done. I think it would be nice to change the name shown for the account so it can be different from the actual user. I have this widget in the center of my desktop, and it would be awesome if i could have the username centered on the widget. Since I only use one address it drops my name right in the center of the sphere on my wallpaper. I tried to do this with your scripts but, wow, i have no idea what most of that stuff means. Thanks for the great work!!

This Wiget looks so professional (and gladly will give a mail utility that doesnt require Desktop X to be fully running) and I just wish my lack of detailed knowledge would enable me to set it up properly !

User Name .. I take to be my e-mail name (Yes?)
My Server Type ... I'm sure is POP3

But where do I take my Server Name from ??

Can anyone help with these basics please ?

Does the Gmail aspect of these seem broken to anyone else or just me? Other mail accounts work fine, but the Gmail ones are not having anything show up, even when I know there is mail.

how do u know wht ur server is and wether ur pop3, imap, or gmail?
Comment #36 Thursday, October 20, 2005 6:13 PM
Weird, I don't get it to work at all. I'm using one POP3 account, one IMAP and one gmail, but none seems to be working and I'm sure I've configured it all correctly. Perhaps Norton is fu**ing up for me?
