Great widget and a cool idea.
Nice alternative to Dreams - for those not using/haveing Vista Ultimate.

Works good as a widget, only slight problem ( but fixable for me ) is on a 1024 resolution I can get at the logo in the bottom right corner and the sys tray icon option isnt enabled for this widget so I had to shut it off by end tasking in processes. I can fix it but you might want to mention the resolution should be on 1280.

That's strange, I created it on 1024 and it's scripted to position itself along the width and height of the screen. I'm not sure why the icon doesn't appear in the systray; it shows up when I run it.

The button to change what appears should be moved because on 1024 screens it's at the bottom right, maybe change it so the moon is the setting switch? Also as beautiful as the fireflies are they use a bit too much CPU

But overall a great desktop.

Anyone know anymore that are in a similer style?

I really like this desktop, but can't get any options from right-clicking on the icon in the system tray? I does take up more CPU, but is not a problem when I'm not doing too much work at the same time. Thanks very much for the nice effects!

I'll try to watch that in future.

Yes, I use 1024 and that's where it's supposed to be-- discreet.

I don't understand the problems with this systray icon.

The Sys tray Icon is in fact in the tray, Im using a black windowblind so I can't see the icon...its black, but I can see it( the name in text ) on mouseover. When this first loads I see the logo that has the options flash on the desktop for a second but then it disappears. When I close this widget, the sounds and animation shut off but the wallpaper remains on desktop after closing. Minor adjustments but still an enjoyable widget for those of us that do not have Vista

Nice work.
If I may make two suggestions.
1. Option to set size and count of stars.
2. Option to set frequency of shooting stars.

The stars are part of the wall (except for one that gives the illusion of the twinkling) but I think I can do frequency settings for the shooting star. Thanks for your suggestions, bakerjg.

This is beautiful!
It's like having Vista Ultimate, and even has low cpu usage like the Vista animated backgrounds.
