Looks cool, but couldn't get to work. Text saying "100" showed up on my desktop, but it didn't glow or control the volume. Running Vista HP. I got it toggle off and on but no visual except the text. Let me know if you have any ideas. HotRod1974

This looks like a problem with DesktopX on Vista. The widget uses two custom plugins and for some reason (probably UAC related), DesktopX will not load the widget if they are not already present in the SDPlugins directory.
Go there "%AppData%\..\Local\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache\Volume Control.exe\" and manually copy "DXVolumeControl.dll" and "DXMouseWheel.dll" to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\DesktopX\SDPlugins"
This should allow the widget to load properly.
