I'm not the Author.
I had just made a mistake. I looked at the eyes of your Alien compared to the rest of his head on your BootSkin and thought you knew of a technique that I use.
I just went to your Profile page and saw your Destop image using the same Alien. Upon observing on a more highly detailed higher resolutioned image, I now see that the image was just originally created that way. Which means upon conversion, you didn't use any certain technique(s) like I had previously thought.
Still, great job on the BootSkin!�

I can tell you use PhotoShop because of the Patternized Rendering.�

Wait a minute...
There's Patternized AND Dispersement Rendering blended together.
Those techniques would mean you had cropped, coppied, and pasted "key" elements of the image over other parts after post production to get that result.
Which is a technique only "I" thought was the only one using.
So, either you've read my past comments to Uncle Rob about my newer dithering techniques, you have a Program that I don't know about or ever seen that does both patternized and dispersement rendering at the same, which I'm sure there is none, or, you're just that good at rendering your images!�
