Have you downloaded stardock's bootskin program yet?
This is a requirement for using any of the bootskins on this site.

above is the link to CNET Download's website, download & install Bootskin, once it's installed, run the program and verify that you can successfully run one of the pre-installed bootskins that come with the Bootskin program. Once you've rebooted your pc successfully and one of those pre-installed bootskins works, you know you can begin downloading & using the bootskins shown on the wincustomize website. Perform that test and reply back and I can assist you with the next step which is downloading a bootskin from this site and importing it into the bootskin program and applying & using it.
