thanks Dslv, I know you can appreciate how hard it is sometimes when working with an image to get it to render down to 16 colors to something that still looks remotely similar to the full color original image.
- sometimes it works out and you're happy with the results and sometimes you just shake your head at what you thought would've looked good and then move on to the next project, 16 colors are so limiting!
I wonder if the Windows Vista OS has a 16 color limitation on bootskins like winxp does.

16 shades of purple did turn out pretty good in this bootskin, I'm glad you like it too!
