this one was another of those works where you look at it and say that maybe it's not done yet.
I tried, maybe I'll work on it again a month or 2 from now and see what happens. Thanks for the great feedback though.

I'm guessing you keep all of your original work even after converting to a BootSkin.
Something I should do. When I'm done, everything's deleted. Then I'm just stuck with the Skin I've got.�

With the exception of the XP Fire Skin.
I kept that, just in case anyone else wanted to use it.
Although it's only 640X480

I had to update it, it just looked like "BLAH?!" - sometimes you get that feeling and you know you have to do something with it, or exile it to the recycle bin never to return again (unless of course you have some form of super duper undelete utility which saves you bacon even after you empty the recycle bin but that's another story altogether.)
Yes I keep all of them, I have a "!retired" folder in my bootskins skins folder, that's where I move all of my older stuff, it's easier to find and bootskins are relatively small so I'm not worrying about waisting drive space by hording my vast collection which includes not only my bootskins but also a fair amount of other author's bootskins. - Remember that Windows 3D bootskin you created with the wicked progress bar - I still have it, it's one of my all time favorites.
Plus I guess if I really wanted to be thorough, I could sign up for some free online storage somewhere on the net and upload them there for backup redundancy - but when I keep doing stuff like that, it gets harder to pull off this geek sticker someone pasted on to my forehead.... at least that's what the wife says (and all of my friends as well but hey when their pc's go down, who do you think they call?) �

I was thinking, technically with your XP fire bootskin, you can just do a hue shift with you newer version and presto you have the same colors that you had in the original. Heck, I'll take it one step further (because of my lack of verbal restraint - don't get me started), do a few hue shifts - blue, green, red, sepia, black & white. You got them hooked on XP fire, I say give them more of what they want! �

I'm thinking about just going ahead and getting my Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Computer Science field of some sort. Then just get a job that pays for doin' this stuff.
