Is this close to what you were looking for?
It's probably the best image of the Flash available out there.
Mind there are other versions of the flash, older versions have him wearing a steel hat and blue pants.
I hope this is close to what you had in mind, it's actually been pretty popular with the downloading majority so you seem to have a clue as to what people are looking for in a bootskin. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

Now that I have tried it out I have a few comments. The colors are excellent and really emphasize the whole character of Flash. And I especially like the progress bar being on the bottom where it doesn't slice into the picture. Like you, I am happy to see the number of copies downloaded. There is clearly a popular demand for these themes of cartoon super heroes.
