it's a vista bootskin in that it contains a vista logo on it. There is currently no bootskin program for windows vista so this bootskin will not work in windows vista - apparently stardock as a bootskin app for windows vista in the works but there is no definite word on when that will be available and if any of the windows xp bootskins will work in that environment.
