You are by far one of the best skinners that I've ever run across. In fact, the Apogee package is absolutely awesome... just disappointed when it did not have all of the various pixel sizes in the original package. The reason for the constrant rants in this forum do not reflect on you personally. Instead, the rants are because of the constant lack of communication or miscommunication over the months and months in general with Stardock.
Thank you for responding back to us and giving us some insights... and thank you for being such an awesome skinner!

I think Paul's just about done and has a bunch of new icons to boot.
BTW, we are hiring. Our biggest issue is simply lack of people to get this stuff out to you.

Thanks for the update. Wish I had the skills to be hired by Stardock... but, I can honestly say that I'm one of the most graphically challenged people in the world.
My programming skills are ok, but not what you all would need.Reply #107 Saturday, March 11, 2006 8:53 AM

I paid good money for Apogee also, and yeah, I'd like to have the update as well, but see no point in hounding a man who's doing his best. Given the hours Mormegil has been putting in recently, Im sure he'd appreciate being shown a little more patience so he can better concentrate on the job at hand, rather than having to do a rush job to placate impatience.
BTW....Mormegil, I have several sets of your icons and believe Apogee to among your best of works....the update will simply perfect an already brilliant package.

Mormegil (Paul),
I am sure the final product will be well worth the wait.
Outside of the missing "Network Connections" folder icon in the main Apogee folder, I see no major issues.
Perhaps if the Vista compressed icon format is creating an issue, you might release just XP formats, and update to Vista for the official release of that OS (if that is what the hold up is).
Again, love the work.

It turns out that Microsoft seams to have changed the Vista format a bit in the latest build. The Icons all work fine on XP, and work fine in vista as well, other then showing a border on the 256x256 vesion. Since most people are not running vista, I am going to go ahead and finalize this update. It should not be a problem to update them again when MS has Vistas Icon finalized.
In short the finished Iconpackaes are made, we should have them avalible to everyone in the next few days.

| Thanks for the update Paul!! |
Not that I've been impatiently champing at the bit while waiting or anything, but I second that....'tis great news indeed

| [Jack_Spade] I once quit a job, and in the resignation letter, one of the sentences was, "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining." I don't know why this came to mind, but I just thought I'd share. |
So Jack, what are you trying to say....that you'd never shake the dandruff out of your hair and try to convince everyone it's snowing?

If Stardock continue to work like this that is fine but they will lose a good customer...
