Original Windows bootscreen suddenly BIGGER!!

Thursday, January 5, 2006 by Red Glasses | Discussion: OS Customization

Hi all,
I have a Dell Inspiron 8200, WinXp and a 1600x1200 screen resolution.
At the beginning, the Windows bootscreen was small and tack-sharp..
Now (and I DO NOT know what I have done) the screen is bigger (bigger text) and it's all "jagged", not sharp...
Can someone please explain to me how I can take it back to it's original size?
Thank you very much!

Sounds like the monitor is auto-switching resolutions (it's an LCD monitor, right?).

Maybe there's some kind of setting in the the monitor's on-screen menu that you can force it to a particular resolution?

Sounds like you are using screen stretching. If so, you will most likely find this setting in the BIOS.
