Is there a way to make a calculator where each entry has it's own line one on top of the other so that you can check your entries for accuracy?

Just installed PowerToy but the input and history panes really don't give you the feel of a paper tape calculator. If this feature could be added it would also be nice to be able to print the 'tape' as it were.

There is a large group of people doing emulators of retired HP calculators.
If you know of a particular model HP that satisfies your needs you may be able to find the emulator has been posted. Most are GNU. Some are limited use with a full version available for a small fee.
I have the HP 41CV emulator and I love it. It's RPN and if you don't know what that means you don't want one. Link

In the past I used Mark's Adding Machine because of the macro capabilities.
