Don't worry. your PC will not get messed up. Installing a skin is a temporary change.

First, locate the icon for WindowBlinds (WB) in the System Tray. Usually the System Tray is on the right side of the TaskBar.

Right-click the WB icon and select Configure WindowBlinds on the pop-up menu

When WB opens, look at the bottom of the WB window and find the scrollbar. Scroll to the left until you get to the first skins available.

The 1st skin (farthest left) is the Windows Classic default skin. The skin 2nd from the left is thw Windows XP default skin. Select one ot the other of those skins.

Look at the sample image of the skin. Click the link that says "Apply this skin now"

After the skin finishes changing, click the [x] to close WB. If you want to get out of WB completely after you change back to the default skin, go back to the icon in the System Tray. Right-click the WB icon and select unload WindowBlinds from the pop-up menu.

psst aimzzz...i haven't tried it lately, but last time i did...changing to default automatically unloaded WB and then it won't run on startup...you have to get it going again by using theme manager or through display properties

Can't you click the WB icon in the Start Menu / More Programs menu? Judging from the age of the user, I think getting out was the main objective for now.

Good to know if there's ever a reason to go to default skin (please, no). It makes sense...
