Oh yeah, in regards to your problem, which program exactly causes this issue?

still a hair too long. maybe delete one more 'flicker' or add some spaces between words so left column can create 2 lines?

Sincere apologies to all.
Right.. when I want to open ANY aspect of Object Desktop - theme manager, windowblinds icon packager, skin editor and most of everything else,
all that happens is - the pages appear then they ALL start FLICKERING - even when I am not using OD ... my main start menu index even flickers...
I am willing to do a clean reinstall of everything if necessary but If I
have to do that I would appreciate some Precise directions on how to do this.
The stardock central page is doing it now . . .

1. Do you know what graphics card you have?
2. Have you tried installing the latest driver for your card?

If things are flickering then something is causing near constant repaints. Given that it is happening with such a variety of apps, it seems unlikely to be being caused by OD itself. Especially when you say your startmenu does it when OD is not even running.
What other apps are you running?
