Cursor goes under Window Titlebar

After the system has been running for awhile (like a day or so), the window frame and the window contents seem to become disconnected in the Z-axis. As such, when moving the cursor around, it will of course be on top of the window contents, but then will pas UNDER the window titlebar, or side or bottom frame. In addition the close button (etc) glow effects also occur UNDER the window titlebar. Restarting WB5 does nothing to correct the problem, though a system reboot works fine.

Because from the comments above it sounds as if this problem is too much for Stardock to fix. Maybe an incompatability warning should be included with each product...

Its not a Stardock error. Its a Microsoft bug in XP.
On some machines you will find XP repaints always on top per pixel windows under non always on top windows after a screen resolution change. This is fixed in XP 64 bit and 2003 server I believe, but Microsoft have yet to release a patch for XP.
Obviously we are looking to see if there is a way to convince the OS to correct itself, but the problem can be reproduced with any 2 windows which are per pixel if one of them is always on top & the other is not. For example CXP & winamp 5 skins.

I realize this thread is about 3 years old, but I'm just now running into this problem. I have Windows XP Pro with SP2 and all the latest video card drivers installed, etc. I just downloaded the Windowblinds version 6.3 free version (for 30 days). I also have installed the free version of CursorFX. Has this "bug" in Microsoft Windows XP been fixed or addressed yet by either Microsoft or Stardock?
Thank you very much in advance for any direction or information you might be able to provide.

Sorry GhostMale. I'm a new user with all brand new paid versions installed and I still get this problem from time to time. Of course there may be an XP update I haven't recieved yet, but I don't think so.
And maybe I'm just a push over, but it really doesn't happen that frequenly and when it does it doesn't seem to bother me that much.

Maybe an update can fix it, but I think the problem is really Windows inherent. Though alpha-blended native cursors work fine, so maybe a compatibility mode that removes so the the advanced animation could help.
