How about a Sticky for new SUBSCRIBERS to intro themselves. You see this on a lot of the sites out there. Something to give people a way to kinda ease into the community without having to worry about stepping on toes or feel like they're intruding into threads, etc.
That kind of post might be able to catch up to Xaltec's "Word Association" fairly quickly.
So for you noob SUBSCRIBERs post a little something about yourself. You know....real name, bank account & credit card numbers, SSN, home address, etc. (just kidding)

It's great to see young people(I was one...once)involved in a hobby/lifestyle/addiction like the skinning community.The youth of WC are our future.Good Luck to all of you.

I've been here downloading skins and things for several months and for some reason just figured out what the Screenshots gallery is for - and now I'm really hooked. Is there a 12-step group for this? 
I'm 49, female, and work as a librarian/information specialist for a news organization. In addition to this newest obsession, I'm really into growing succulents (and other plants too). I've some fairly basic web design. I've been using Paint Shop Pro X for recoloring icons and stuff for my screenshots - don't know if I'll ever be up to actually creating a skin for anything...

Hello, i'm just getting into everything here.. Got sick of the way my desktop looks, and fell into here. I'm starting from the ground up, so i'll probably be asking a LOT of question, but from what i can tell, this is the place to do it. Look foreward to relying on everyone elses wisdom here!
As for me? I'm from Oregon (that just above California and below Washinton for those of you in the US, for my foriegn, it's in the US). I'm in OR National Guard. In civilian life, i'm a professional tech geek. Been a tech geek for many many years, i'm halfway good at it. Just was never much on software work, but it's been getting slowly beaten into me the last couple years. Suppose i'll just have to plunge deeper into that then, won't i?

Welcome to all! I'm Doc or DrJ. Lantec gave me my new nickname DrJBHL (BHL = Bleeding Heart Liberal).
I've been using WB and the OD Ultimate for quite a long time, it seems, but never visited the Forums until this year and it takes some getting used to.
The folks here and at Stardock genuinely try to help with all sorts of problems: Those related to skinning and just about anything that might pop up in life, computer problems, car problems...you name it and you'll probably find the right answer here. Even if you don't, you'll always find support because this is a community in every sense of the word.
So, everyone: WELCOME to one and all!
