When I purchased 2 Subscriptions for WC Contest Winners last month...you sent an email stating that the Subscription had been transferred to the 2 winners. When I checked my WC Subscription ...the serial number that Stardock auto-generated by email to me isn't the original number of my personal purchased subscription. They are listing my serial as the one that was for contest winners. This will only complicate things in the future for the 2 winners and/or myself. Please send me an email with the correct serial number...

| [T-Man] Actually, ever serial number is very unique to your account. The registrations that went to the winners had new serial numbers generated for their accounts. Also, when we update a version of a product we generally update the serial number scheme. So lets say we update the version of the WinCustomize Browser, we then update the serial numbers in the system so the old serial numbers are no longer valid. The system is actually quite complex so its difficult to explain and also I don't want to give too much information away. So in order to sum things up. Everything is ok. Yes you have a new serial, but that is just the way our system works. |
Thanks..I had been waiting for an email reply. Just wanted to be sure that was my serial number...
