Can't access the script part of DesktopX...

Any help is welcome!
here's my problem: i can't access the script option in desktopX, when i try in DesktopBuilder to hit the "new" or " enable script" buttons, DXbuilder just crashes. I tried with new desktops from scratch, it doesn't change a thing. Did i miss anything when i installed DX (BTW i have the same problem on my laptop and PC!).

AppName: desktopx builder.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: dxaxhost.dll
ModVer: 2.0.0.0 Offset: 0002527d
