Neowin RSS feed causes error

When I tried to view the neowin RSS feed at this link "http://neowin.net/backend.php?page=main" using the Silica RSS reader I got an error. Another RSS reader just asked me to disable the script right away. What's up with that? Obviously at one point it was possible to read this link as RSS feed or else the widgets wouldn't have been released. Is there any fix for that? (both widgets work fine with feed links that end with XML files)
