Forget "Drag & Drop", now it's "Fold n' Drop"

On slashdot today they linked to an interesting website about a new window interacting concept. It involves folding the windows as you drag objects around. Have a look at the video at the website, it explains much better what it's all about.

It's an extremely cool feature, but I rarely have more than one Explorer window open at a time, so I'm not sure how useful it would be for me. I'm a folder pane guy, myself.
Also, it would seem more useful on a low res display, which is moving toward obsolescence. So I'm not sure this isn't a feature whose time has past.
Personally, I'd be more thrilled with a dual-directory Explorer window and/or Explorer with tabs. (Yes, I know there are third party solutions, but they're not the same.)

Tarkus: I work in half a dozen directories simultaneously most of the time. Drag'n'drop isn't as optimal as it could be in such situations (even with my current dual-screen setup), so innovations as these are highly appreciated. Whether or not this works is a different story, ofcourse.

Yes, ...did try this on my own machine ~and it's a good idea [that needs a bit more tweaking]. Doesn't work every time, but shows promise as a handy little tool.
Hope they sort out the little bugs in it.

Thanks, I downloaded that a short while back, along with bxNewFolder. I installed bxNewFolder first, and every time I used it, it caused Explorer to crash. I figured if that simple little extension crashed my system, I wasn't about to try something more complicated from the same company. So I uninstalled bxNewFolder and trashed both of them.
I didn't mean to suggest that no one would benefit from this. I was just saying I personally wouldn't use it (or rarely), and it wouldn't be as useful in general as it would have been before hi-res displays became more mainstream.
