DX 3.1 pro

I downloaded 3.1 pro off of SDC today (actually it said 3.09c I believe)and when I loaded it, it does say DX 3.1 pro. So I am thinking it has the export function of gadgets now using the DX helper area but when I use the save object/widget button but nothing happens (I say this because I saw the picture that Brad posted of the example of exporting a widget to a gadget). Has the function not been turned on yet? Did I get 3.1 pro off of SDC by mistake or a glitch?
