Universal Toolbar in OD+
Tuesday, July 5, 2005 by j dott | Discussion: OS Customization
If this can't be done in OD, can it be done with Object Bar or something else?
Any tips will be appreciated. Point me in the right direction, and I'll share the results.

I don't think OD+ will send commands to another open app. It may be something that can be programed as a docklet but I don't think that's the best method for what your wanting to do. I'm not as sure about Obect Bar. I've only used it as a taskbar replacement.
I suggest trying out X-Keys. They make several diffierent types of programmable keyboards. I use X-Keys Pro which is a 58 Key pad. All are 100% programmable. Check them out here

There is also the ToolBarPro program which WILL send commands to a specific app Link. I tried it out and it's useful, but I like the X-keys better.
