How to apply suites?

Sunday, April 24, 2005 by MX1000 | Discussion: Suites

I try to apply suites that came pre-installed with the free version of theme manager. When I try to do that a dialogue box opens and downloads necessary files but it does not extract or apply the suites, nothing changes. What is the reason of this? Please help.

Seems to me if it has to download, then it's not installed.

Do you have the themes in: \Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\ThemeManager\Themes ?
Try downloading one, make sure it's extension is .suite then double click it or use open with.
It should want to open with theme manager.

Theme mgr was just updated to 2.20.030 - the earlier version had problems after the site moved servers and such.

Free version 2.20 is updated and working properly. Do you have WindowBlinds, IconPackager etc, installed, if not download from software tab. Theme manager interacts with these to apply skins, it does not apply them itself. CopperDeckII did apply, Pic Office only applied wallpaper for me.

Looks like Theme Manager only updated on Stardock Central, Link
download and install then download Theme Manager with it.
