Widget Download attempts say "doesn't appear to be Desktop X File?

I download a widget from WinCustom, go to Desktop X > Create > Browse > choose new widget (which is .zip). I've tried to change to
.dxpack, .dxtheme, but still the same message. I'm new at this and couldn't find in previous postings. Thanks in advance and I truely
love DX and the fellowship that resides here........Atlantis8

Leave the zip-extension as it is, and extract the file inside. If I'm not mistaken, it should be an exe-file.
