The Illusive OS X Icons

Now, I'm not usually the needy type. But lately I have been searching for a complete set of original Mac OS X icons. By original I mean that they are authored by Apple, not some obscure (albeit talented) author. These particular items are proving difficult to procure. Am I to surmise that these forbidden fruits are beyond my grasp? If anyone has anything of worth to say (or anything of no worth
