How to remove Mailbox object

Somebody tell me how to remove the Mailbox Object from my desktop please. It's driving me crazy, and I can't figure out how to change which objects are on your desktop!

If it is a part of a theme: Right-click on the DesktopX icon in your system tray and click on "Switch to Advanced Mode". Once you have done that you can right click on any object within the theme and delete it. With more complex objects (e.g. Media Players, Weather objects) DektopX will ask you if you want to delete the object only or the object and all the 'children' objects. Choose the latter to remove the full object.
WARNING, save the theme first before you attempt to delete anything, that way if you muck up you can just reload your saved theme.
