Uesugi Kenshin. Japanese Warlord from the 16th century. Not a common name.

actually, my nickname "Kenshin" comes from the "Rurouni Kenshin" TV Anime Series...

ok. Rurouni's name was taken from Japans misty past. A tenacious warlord that might have become shogun had he not died prematurely. Adopted Family name was Uesugi. He changed his first name to Kenshin which is a buddhist name for "faith, truth, fidelity, trust". In Japan your family name is pronounced first, thus Uesugi Kenshin. Here in the western world he would be called Kenshin Uesugi.
