Can't rate skins anymore...

For some reason, I can no longer rate skins. I have Apprentice level, and am a current customer on the site. I was able to rate skins on both the old WC site, and the new one after I migrated my account. However, for the last two weeks (at least) I can no longer rate skins. When I mouse over the stars, it doesn't show up as linkable anymore. I normally use FireFox, but have also tried Internet Explorer, and the behaviour is the same.

I've been a reasonable critic, so I don't see any reason why I should have lost this access. Help?

Oookay.... I found the ratings down at the BOTTOM of the screen by the comments field. I thought, for some reason that the stars were clickable...

perhaps they should be. Or move the rating button closer to the top.

I still can't rate skins, at all. Is it because I'm just an ordinary, mortal citizen, or are my powers of perception lacking?

I had the same issue with ratings, but as it turns out I can rate skins via Comments on the bottom, as you said.

But, stars are clickable ONLY when accessing the website of the individual and his gallery. In all other instances, I cannot click on stars to rate. I have not idea why... Maybe it's a way to encourage us to rate alongside with comments? There should be some explanation of the rating system to us, so we don't just guess.

You're right, you stars are clickable only on the gallery and the wincustomize site. I still haven't figured out how to rate from the comments though. Do I just type 'five stars?' I don't see anything...

zoogie In e to rate skins you need to be a WC subscriber or Journeyman....may be current Stardock customer or Master Apprentice....I am slightly confused on this at the moment

Didn't know if I should start a new post on this issue or add a reply to this one and maybe someone will see the updated activity.

I can't rate skins anymore, I'm giving a message that appears as a mouseover event when I place my cursor over the rating stars on any given skins. The message appears: "...you must be an apprentice or be a current wincustomize subscriber to rate skins."

I'm not an apprentice by I am a current wincustomize subscriber.
Anyone else experience this problem?

I have also tried logging out and logging back into the site and also from different browsers, the same message appears when I try to rate a skin. Strange huh?

On a side note, anyone notice that the download button & ratings area tend to get confused sometimes. I try to download a skin by clicking on the download button and the ratings drop down stars appear (and the message detailed above). I try to rate a skin and the download button gets pressed, etc. I've tried testing this by being super slow & careful when clicking on the download button but it seems that the area sensitive to mouse over events for the ratings system seems to be reaching a little lower into the download button section. Not a big deal but I thought I would mention it. You know these forums are great for people with big mouths and have tons of stuff to say - not mentioning any names (largely because I'm talking about myself)

Apprentice or higher or be a subscriber, then you can rate.  The rating stars is by the download button.  Hover your mouse over the stars and you will get a drop down box, select how many stars to give and click.
