why are pictures in a theme inside of program files/smallville/etc showing up in my desktop pictures

why in my desktop pix list are pictures from a theme showing up

Friday, January 7, 2005 by eric0668 | Discussion: OS Customization

I have a hacked uxtheme.dll

I thought that pictures had to be in a certain place, maybe web/wallpapers to show up in the desktop wallpaper list

Well, I had a theme in Program files/Plus!/Smallville (Only because they told me to put it there) and all the pics were showing up in the list. Anyone know why?

But I just removed the theme and did as many did put it in Windows/resources/themes and they don't show up??

Hmmm

This isn't the best place to ask for advice concerning hacking your to change its visual style...Sorry...I'd try asking for help on Neowin or the sites that are associated with hacking (i won't name any names ). Or...try WindowBlinds. http://www.windowblinds.net I guarantee that our skins will work.

As to the desktop pictures, I don't fully understand what you're asking...do you mean the shellstyle image that's in the My Pictures Explorer window?
