Object Bar submenu dock positioning

Hello again,
Another question about the ObjectBar docking. I have submenus that I want to make sure always popup on the LEFT side of the current bar. However, they seem to prefer to pop up on the right if there is enough space to do so, and only move to the left or up if there isn't sufficient space to the right and down.
Is this another 'yet to be implemented' feature in the beta?
