Scrolling 5.56 Beta

Friday, July 5, 2024 by Blaine Tellis | Discussion: Fences

After downloading Fences 5.56 Beta, my scrolling inside a fence is also reversed. In addition, when scrolling through icons, they now move up 1 1/2 lines rather than one line at a time. No other applications show this behavior.

Windows Ver 23H2, Build 22631.3810 using a Logitech G502 Hero Mouse.

Restarting Explorer or rebooting computer have no effect on the reversal.

No big deal, just annoying.

Sorry, I thought I sent this to Fences 5.56 Beta Feedback Thread

Hi Blaine, is it reversed in Folder Portals as well as the general desktop? Or only the desktop, and Folder Portal scrolling is still fine. Thank you

Dr W,

Initially ,I had no Folder Portals created. I created one as a test, it reacts normally, the desktop folders still reversed and off sync. Hope this helps, thanks for the reply.

Hey Blaine, thank you so much for checking this out. We've been able to take a look and have been able to reproduce and fix! No timeline this second on when the next update will be coming out, but please be patient a couple of weeks to catch the fix in the upcoming cycle.

Dr W -

Installed Beta update 5.59 for Fences today and scrolling direction has been corrected. Thank you. HOWEVER, the icons still scroll 1 1/2 lines at a time inside all fences. Is this still in the works?
