WindowFX Feature Request

Please consider

Wednesday, February 19, 2020 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Object Desktop

Hey there devs.  I have a request.

For those who use WindowFX and not Fences, I realize there is a "quick hide" function in WinFX.  Can we add the ability to NOT have icons showing on boot up?

Hidden by default, or a selection for that?

I, for one, would appreciate it. Quick hide is the only reason I use Fences.

Quick hide is the only reason I use Fences.

Me too. Fences just seems useless to me.

Hey Al. yes, the feature is already in WinFX, but the icons aren't hidden on startup. One must hide them manually.  There is a function to only show icons when the desktop has focus, but that is a lot of the time for me, so a choice to hide icons on boot up would be awesome!!

If a developer has seen this could I please know that?

If not, could someone forward to a dev?

I already did Jim, reply#1, send it to CM Channel (Support) Team, I assume Sean has seen it. I pushed it again for you.

Thank you,
