Weather widgets not working AGAIN
Sunday, March 26, 2017 by RedBuzzard | Discussion: OS Customization
The DesktopX weather widgets are not working AGAIN. Weather Underground did something to their feed so for the past few days the forcast has been disappearing.

I was able to get the older weather.com ones working by following this https://forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.php?t=23289 It's for rainmeter but works for these as well. You just have to edit the script.

I'm having the same issues as the-reaper-man with my all weather Gadgets. It's showing the current forecast and it's accurate in that regard, but my long term forecast for the past few days are showing "N/A". I'm not sure what's causing it but all of my weather gadgets are affected

I will wait a bit, and if it doesn't get fixed, I will delete all weather gadgets from my gallery, never to make another.
This has happened too many times.
Guys, if you want my weather gadgets/widgets, get em, they may not be there long.

Can you bring a direct link to the Weather widget, just can't find it
Thanks
EDIT: after cleaning the cache, reboot PC, weather widgets came back the way they should (think they may have a server trouble or something like this on Weather Underground
)
EDIT 2: as trouble came back again, i also put the widgets/gadgets cache and the widget/gadgets as total exclusion in my AV program (Avast latest free version) ==> widgets came back to normal functionnalities (till when
)

I just look out of the window now.
And for the long range forecast, I climb up on the roof.

About the Weather Underground scripts
As both of the cleaning the cache and put the widgets/gadgets cache and the widget/gadgets as total exclusion in my AV program seem to don't bring permanent results, i tried also another thing:
I get most of time a proxy activated on my system and it seems ( ?? ) that when it's the case the widget brings the N/A information AND when i cut off the proxy it brings back running correctly ...
Anyone in that case ?

Been using XWidget. Very easy to skin. So far I have never ever had a feed problem.
AND
There's Rainmeter weather widgets as well.
DesktopX isn't supported anymore anyway.

How'd you get the weather underground to work?
