Windows 8.1 Charms Bar
Tuesday, February 17, 2015 by BigDogBigFeet | Discussion: Windows Discussion
I would possibly like Windows 8.1 except for the charms bar. It is so annoying in how often the damn thing appears and prevents computer usage, that it is making my Laptop mostly unusable.
No wonder Microsoft had a problem. I absolutely hate that awful Charms Bar. It was named that I'm sure because it killed Windows 8 like a charm.
Anyway, how do I prevent that thing from mouse pad activation. Whenever, I move my mouse with the touchpad from right to left anywhere on the screen the damn thing activates and prevents computer use.
Help!!!!

I, personally, would drop the touchpad and use a mouse...lol...I hate those little touchpads.

Same here, can't stand having to use a finnicky, no good, downright bloody awful, tech from hell, PITA touchpad... TG for wireless, portable mices.
Yeah, I know, I spelt mice[s] wrong. So what! I'm in a Mr Jinx type 'mouse luvin' mood' and I can spell how I want.

I think maybe I got it off. I will use the Lappy later today just to make sure. I think I like Windows 8.1 it just needs some help. I just run Start*8 for now...for that Win 7 friendly UI.
Thanks guys.

Download and install OldNewExplorer BDBF, it will make Windows 8.1 look like Windows 7.
