Good Old days

I remember in the old days(Good Old) you had skinners making minimalistic, thin border window blinds with a roll up button. Damn few skinners put the roll up button anymore and it seems thin borders are out. One reason most of my blinds are old.

I wonder now I.R. is doing.
Wom.......I hooked up with I.R - Mike - down in Colorado Springs about 7 years ago. He was bouncing back after a tough few months. Great guy.

Yeah Leo, I talked to I.R. back then . If I remember right he was working at a soup kitchen. But trying to remember that far back isn't easy. I do remember trying to talk him out of leaving Texas.

I used to email and chat with Mike (I.R.) too, then all of a sudden he just disappeared. I was not totally sure what his situation was, but I sure do wish he would come back, his skinning abilities were fantastic!

Yes, absolutely, IR had a certain style that demanded attention and respect. As stated earlier, I hoped he would do more master skins along the lines of "No Load Limit'. Now that was/is one heck of a WB that really was something to behold... sadly, my copy was lost due to a HDD failure and I have to see if I can redownload it somehow,.
As for IR himself, I do hope he's okay and can find his way back here someday soon... if not as a skinner, as a forum visitor/regular.
If you're reading this, IR, you have been missed and please let us know you're okay.

I remember well feline. There was a long post with him way back when. I believe Dora was a part of it also. It was definitely worth its weight in entertainment.

I can't get over remembering back to DavidK and the Alienware theme of 2003.
I remember a Monday night [here in Oz] late, about 11pm...it was September 11, 2001 ....'talking' to Dave on ICQ [for the youngsters....think Skype but less bullshit ads, etc]...and he said 'some plane just crashed into the World Trade Center....'
I'll never forget Dave [and, no, not simply because of that] ...
