Terry named this 'Sabrina' .... bit of a play on words, I expect.
2007 SAAB 9-3 Aero Cabriolet.
Price was too good to refuse, being 70k AUD off the '07 listed price.
Quaintly...although SAAB is Swedish....this one's German...and the Engine was made in Port Melbourne [Australia] just a 'couple of miles down the road' from me.
Fitted with a Hirsch performance chip the 2.8l V6 Turbo Intercooled produces 202kw [276 hp] at 5670 rpm - or 90% of the 400 nm of torque from 1600 rpm onwards. They typically don't 'rate' in pursuits such as 0 to 60 times as the first 2 gears of 6 are torque-limited to protect the transmission from ...er .... abuse.
SAAB's are massively underrated and/or overlooked by people looking for performance motoring - and more fool them....keeps their prices down...
For the best-of-both-worlds we've kept 'Natasha' - the '91 SAAB 9000 Turbo [a Giugiaro design] too as it does seat 5 and with a hatchback it can carry all the 'crap' needed when loaded up with 4 Race Officials heading off to the GrandsPrix, etc...

The Thorium reactor is really safe, too. They should have gone in that direction LONG ago, but other "interests" probably paid the pols better.

Careful what you wish for. Keeping a Jag running requires the equivalent of the GNP of several small nations.
I have a neighbor with a Jag, he has had great luck.
But I'll never leave my Chevy. Besides, I could never afford a Jag.

Luck is indeed the operative word. They can be nightmares. Maybe that's changed in recent years, but not so's you'd notice.

Almost identical [if in RHD] of my second car... a 1964 Triumph Spitfire 4 Mk1 .... 1147cc engine ...63hp .... the first of two I had.
The second [its replacement after a write-off] was a 1966 MkII with a Mk111 engine...1296cc bored to about 1320...75hp. It was originally white but spent most of its life in undercoat...

The Standard was GWL-912.
First Spitty was HYW-087
Second Spitty was JTB-301 [never returned the plates].

I had a little red one. 
And was surrounded by a herd of elk on a mountain road in BC once, which towered over me and my car. FEAR!

Car number 4 was a change of pace...
1970 Chrysler Valiant VF Hardtop....OK, so it still has 2 doors....but it's a tad bigger....225 cu.in slant 6 and 3 sp torqueflite tranny ...2 bbl....about 160hp.
Built like a tank....it took out a Leyland P76 without almost a scratch. [mine didn't have the venetians and this pic is of a 'Regal']

Number 5 ....another Chrysler....this time a '73 VJ Charger ....245 Hemi and 3sp Torqueflite .... around 165hp. It was same colour as this....'Sandstone'.
Never was the same after it was stolen [I got it back again....minus the wheels, etc].
Of course...there's a trend here....got this one about '84 ....still had never owned a car that was less than 10 years old already...

Next one was bland....'82 Toyota Corolla....1300cc manual [in red]....bog-standard and boring...but about as reliable as you can get.
