W B shutdown button text fix & when will WB update come ?
I don´t want to upload more Blinds with it there

To whom it may concern:
-About the Start 8 shutdown button text. Can anyone please give a relevant update on this issue ?
Will there be a fix to take the text away in the near future.

The problem is the use of those content margins to shift the text is out of spec and WB isn't exposing the information needed to Start8.
Hopefully the next WB update (not Start8) will add in exposing that information to Start8. On Windows 7 it isn't needed as WB handles all the text itself.

But why is it then working on Xiandi´s skin see reply 32 ? DID she just made the button bigger ? so that the text is located in the grey of places list and stays invisible at all times ? I dont have the skin but i would like to know how she did it... If anyone can take a look in SKS it would be appreciated to provide some info about it ty

She is probably using the Vista theme parts which do not have text painted on them.

Off topic, also notice that on the upper right of the start menu in reply 32 the animations are missing. This should be looked at as well.

Im with Andy on this one since SKS is complicated especially for starters i know how lost i was when i made my first skin... and because your options to change stuff like this in WB itself is close to 0
It would be great if you guys could manage to close those little things on the next windowblinds update, start8 and Iconpackager
I know Neil already read the topic and i myself reportet flaws via IRC and was told that there is internal work beeing done , i think you are already at it since the release of windows8.1 is only two days away would be perfect for you guys to test it do some changes and throw a bunch of updates out ^^

including the IP Live folders

If a skin has a Vista sub-style with the logoff buttons created and then you create a Windows 7 sub-style and DO NOT create the logoff buttons, the Windows 7 sub-style will use the appropriate parts of the Vista logoff buttons. If the shutdown text was shifted off the button area in Vista, it will not show up in Windows 7, or Windows 8. Sounds weird I know, but then again... it's SKS.

The Vista buttons never had text which is why text does not appear.
WindowBlinds will fall back to older sections when newer ones are missing, so if the Win7 buttons are missing it uses the Vista ones.

-They said they talked to the Developers (Guess that´s you Neil) and confirmed what you said. -Update´s on it´s way
