Maybe your right. I really don't like adding to much stuff to do the same thing as other programs already do.

When i had windowsMe, memory usage was lousy, my system would freeze all the time but a mem program would give me a big boost. Now i have XP and i can run several applications at once and not take a memory hit, so i never saw a reason to get a memory program.

Well the wife has a zillion things open and every now and then the machine will almost grind to a halt. Very Very slow. So she shuts down and starts again. With ME it would lock up. Where is the resource meter at? Does XP have one?

Bite my tongue Wise! You should give it a try! little over 500kb download. It sits quietly in your systray and auto-regulates memory usage. Cool.
