The only skin/art site i still use lovbro1 is DevART. Which i will probably change that also. Comments matter more to me than ratings or downloads and thats not me since i am a statistics Freak.

i agree with that ... i have a different nick at devart. i still upload there but actually forget to go look after i've done so. this site means much more in terms of constructive comments ...

I think this site's message board is more friendlier and cleaner. I wish that more artists would at least say thanks to comments on their works, so you know that they at say them. It's getting to the point that I've stopped commenting on the ones that don't.

i try to say thank you to all the comments ... the setup on this site makes it easier to do so as you can see when a new comment has been left. i think it's important ... if someone took the time to comment, a thank you is a small return ...

I do my best to respond back to comments and i try to help the newbies. I know WinStyles pretty well and I'm getting better at understanding how DesktopX works.

i have tried desktopx but don't use it ... i agree with you, wise, it's very time consuming and never seems to work like i think it's supposed to . i run nextstart and workshelf, windowblinds, and iconpackager. use trillian for my chat medium. and that's about it

Thats what i felt at first, I didn't like DesktopX, Then i thought What the Heck? and i dove right in and saw how cool it was. Now it is my favorite program. My first skin will probably be DesktopX.

I use windowblinds, logons, wallpapers and cursorXP and icons. Tried desktopX and winstyles. Didn't like them. To much work.

I agree it can be time consuming at times but thats because some skiiners don't take the time to make the theme as complete as possible before uploading

I might try a wall and logon one of these days, as soon as the wife shows me how to use Photo Shop and Bryce. Then may a blind. But that will be way down the road.
