Help: My soundpackager sound for logoff/logout now clipped

I use windows 7. I have an 8 second sound clip installed using soundpakager to play on logoff/logout. This worked fine until recently. The sound no longer plays in full on logff/logout. I suspect the problem is a recent Windows update.
Any help please.
