I'm not planning any summer contests as the last couple we had barely had more than a few entries.

A contest doesn't need to have prizes . . . or judges . . or ID.

Pick a theme and and go with it. See what happens. If someone wants to donate a prize (or even just a reward like the Personal Page Elite badge) they can.

Why not. I can see a Master wanting to make a few dollars or more. But for the rest of the skinners why not make them for the fun and enjoyment of it. Sharing with others who aren't skinners or maybe they are that may like what you made.

That wasn't a joke, btw.... I am working on such a wallpaper for when my HD4850X2 graphics card comes home from repair, and I (finally) get the third monitor added - and maybe a fourth, smaller one, to run various stats. 
(Current setup: 22" Neovo (disabled), 25" HP and a 26" Fujitsu Siemens.)
