Tuesday, December 20, 2011 by LightStar | Discussion: Sneak Previews
I never sleep! Still in infancy and lot's to do, but I thought you might like a peak at my new WB called Altosa. Of course it will be for XP, Vista and 7. Hope you like it. Let me know with your comments.

Tom, i love this concept...but i pesonally would cut down those dark shadows you have there. (make them lighter and smaller) they take away from the minimalistic taskbar buttons and menu items you have going there.
other than this...looks wikked.

Thanks for the input Kitty. Have not even done the taskbar buttons or the menu items yet though. They are leftovers from the previous skin. Working on those today, but I kind of like the shadowing as is though.

I really like your skins , LightStar ( well, not all, but most of them; at the moment I'm wearing Pillars, congrats on the feature..) Just, I really would like to see a dark substyle too sometimes...A dark substyle would have been absolutely great for several skins of yours
Any chance to get it?

Sorry, but Pillars is about as dark as I get nowadays. Doing totally dark styles interferes with a lot of applications otherwise. Thanks for the nice comment.

Oh, I was not talking about Pillars (of course "totally dark" interferes with some applications; I never spoke about "totally dark"... ) I was wondering about your future skins. Any chance to get some dark substyles included as well?

Well, I really don't do sub-styles either other than for the different OS's, but I can think about doing a dark theme next.

If you apply a really dark texture to Pillars I think you will like the results.
