Just in case I don't make it - I did and it's up!

Theater of the Mind

Thursday, July 28, 2011 by k10w3 | Discussion: Sneak Previews

Hi all -

I'm going offline tomorrow because I'm moving to Oklahoma, and in case I become a highway fatality (I know, I'm so morbid lately), I wanted to provide a sneak preview of my latest WIP, Theater of the Mind.

The best of luck to you and your family in your new life. That's quite a leap that you're making, and I hope that it pans out for you.

They're animated, so I kind of hate to mess with them at this point, but I respect your opinion and will see what I can do.

Thanks for wishing me luck on the trip.  I'm actually looking forward to living in Tulsa, as I have friends there, and I'll have a social life, which might do wonders for my mental health.

"in case I become a highway fatality"

plenty of caffeine... no bongs... frequent stops... strap in the pooch....and keep prodding the driver....

All I will need now is some popcorn and some gum stuck to the bottom of my chair to get the "feel" right.

you forgot the jaffas....

though probably you don't have them over there....         hard shelled li'l sweets that used to roll nice and noisily down the wooden floored aisles of the old theatres.... a must have...

Finally got the internet up and running.  So much to do.  We had lots of help packing, but once we got here, able bodies who said they would be glad to help unpack suddenly quit answering their phones.  I got a little help from a friend I met online at another site (she bought food, brought over cleaning supplies and helped us unpack the beds and a few boxes).  Later that night I twisted my ankle in the driveway, so now I'm hobbling around and can't do much of anything.  This skin is taking a back seat to oh so much right now -- I MIGHT have it finished in time for Christmas.

So you survived the drive but the unpacking is what will do you in.

So glad to hear that you made it there okay.

Have a safe trip and wish you well on your next chapter! New starts are scary but exciting at that same time!

Oh noez... not "curtains" for the blind?!

moving sucks... but at least you have a new friend! That's a good thing.

Foot in warm water and alphabets (lower case first) then upper case in 7-10 days. First ice it for 48 hrs.

S'pose I could get used to it if the wallpaper was a capture of Oklahoma the musical.   Hehe,

Nah, it looks great, not to mention original.  Since the advent of Vista, many WB's have been rather simplistic and missing the extra flair that brings originality to the desktop, but this brings it back, and with style, too.

I'm sure the finished product will be terrific and a credit to your ever increasing artistic vision.

As for the move, all the best with it and be safe.
